Official Languages of Aotearoa: Te Reo Māori, English and New Zealand Sign Language are the 3 most prestigious languages spoken widely throughout the country as NZs’ official languages. Te Reo Māori is the indigenous language of the country and is continuously evolving through the years as society progresses.
